St. Martin's Chamber Choir
presents
Chori Antiphoni, with the Colorado Chorale
Louis Spohr, a contemporary of Beethoven, wrote a Mass for two choirs of unequal size (Coro di Maggiore [large chorus] and Coro di Minore [small chorus]). This rarely-heard gem of the early Romantic era will be heard in a unique collaboration between St. Martin’s 24 voices and the Colorado Chorale’s 75 voices. Double choir works by Britten, Kverno, Vodnansky Biebl and others will complete the program, taking full advantage of the conjoining of two of Colorado’s finest choral ensembles.
Tickets from Friday's cancelled performance at St. John's Cathedral may be used at this Saturday performance. If the St. John's performance can be rescheduled that information will be posted on the St. Martin's website at www.StMartinsChamberChoir.org.
